As we watch our cities and nation, make a vast yet focused attempt to rid our country of Christ, and our rich Christian heritage and history, we strive to unite with fellow believers in our own attempt, by the grace of God, to bring our nation back to its original vision of a united nation under one God….
Inscribed in stone on our nation's Peace Tower building is a passage from Psalm 72:8 which reads - “HE SHALL HAVE DOMINION ALSO FROM SEA TO SEA.” We strive to work toward accomplishing this original vision, of Christ as sovereign ruler, for Canada in obedience to the Great Commission - “All authority has been given to Me (Jesus) in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20).
We desire to be a church that wholly understands that it will be by God's grace and His sovereign decree that if anything is accomplished through the labour of our hands for His Kingdom, it will be because we’ve been strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit.
And we want to be a church that lives by the phrase, “All of Christ, for all of life” as we work toward building a Christ-glorifying culture of truth and love, that we pray will one day replace our nation's current, self-destructing culture of death.
Thus we will look back to the past and forward to the future through a victorious lens because we know that the preaching of the Gospel has the power to transform the hearts and minds of our fellow citizens…
And we shall be His witnesses in Grimsby, in Canada, and even to the end of the earth.
It's so refreshing to be a part of a solid church where the entire family is kept together, male headship is emphasized, and children are fully included in the life of the church. In a day where men are taught to abdicate their responsibilities, ladies are convinced they are men, and children are brainwashed to mutilate themselves, having a refuge in the midst of the storm for the family is so very needed. This is one reason why we love White Stone Church of Christ!
I’m grateful to God to be able to join a local church (and a denomination) that is uncompromising in its mission to bring the truth of Christ to bear in every area of life.
I never really realized how much covenantal worship would bless my family. A high liturgy that includes congregational worship from beginning to end and Bible-based preaching to the glory of God has us excited for every Sunday and motivated to build and take over society for the Glory of God and the expansion of His kingdom.
