2 Timothy 3:16-17 reads, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” The Bible is sufficient for all we do in how we are to live. This includes but is not subject to discipleship, parenting, relationship, vocation, hobbies, morality, ethics, entertainment, health, politics, education, culture, arts, business, and literature. We desire to be a church community that strives to put “All Of Life” into subjection of God’s revealed Word.
We desire to see Grimsby become a Christian town, through prayer, and a biblically faithful and robust covenant renewal worship every week on the Lord’s Day. By the grace of God, we wish to demonstrate, teach and love our neighbours by showing them what it means to live by the words, “All Of Christ For All Of Life.”
Through outreach that brings people to church, accommodating them where they are while seeking to bring them into maturity in Christ, in a biblically structured way. Through teaching men and women how to live together in harmonious Christian marriage, establishing a family-friendly culture of Christian education in which well-loved and disciplined children learn to stay the course throughout the generations, being brought up in training and admonition of the Lord. And lastly, through genuine cultural engagement that provides Christian leadership in the arts, business, education, politics, and literature.
We seek to do all of this with joyful hearts as we pursue love for God and love for our neighbour, seeking to obey the words of Christ found in Matthew 22:37-39, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’...”
